My Favorite Photo...

Thanks for taking the time to look through our page. This is Bradley writing now, and above is quite simply, my favorite photo I have ever taken as a photographer. Engagement photos in Duluth make it easy, but it takes everything working in tandem to create something like this. Art is often shyed away from when it comes to what makes it what it is. There is one thing I don't believe a photographer can/will fake, and that is true love between two people.

As a wedding photographer, I have spent a lot of time with people on some of the biggest days of their life. Something I have had the pleasure of seeing, and capturing, is the love we all share. I can see the love between all of the couples I have had the pleasure of working with, and that is what makes a good photo.

Wow, still reading? Fantastic! Let's talk about what makes this my favorite photo. First, I really love how the composition turned out. Grassy fields are a personal weakspot, I do not think you can take a bad photo in a place like this. The way her legs comfortably fold over his, the look they only share with eachother, and the cowboy hat felt perfectly placed. Second, is back to the look they share. They just lit up when they saw one another, and being able to capture that was such an honor. And last, everything worked out just right. It isn't a perfectly staged photo. There are some big weeds coming up that don't look perfect. Maybe a distraction is in the frame here and there. But, that is all so representative in our relationships. We have things that are not perfect, and that is what makes us beautiful.
